Get your mixing spoon bowl ready for this months' fabulous mouth watering recipe brought to you by our very talented seamstress Kendall from My Favourite Apron Co.

This recipe has very special meaning to Kendall being one of her lovely Mum's favs and we are very touched that she is sharing it with us.

¼ cup - 60mls butter/margarine

½ cup – 120mls brown sugar

1 egg

1 cup – 240mls self-raising flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon cocoa

½ cup – chocolate chips, nuts or raisins etc (whichever you prefer)

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius

Line a baking tray with baking paper

Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy then beat in the egg

Mix in flour, salt and cocoa.

Mix in ½ cup of chocolate chips, nuts, raisins … whatever you fancy.

Using a teaspoon, roll ball of mixture and flatten slightly onto the baking tray about 5cm apart as they will spread a little.

Cook 10-12 minutes.

Cool on cooling rack.

Eat and enjoy.

We'd tell you how to store them but will they really last that long ???
