  • All vendors - upload your Insurance Certificate of Currency (minimum $10million)
    (see T & C’s point 12), or check the box that says “I do not have my own insurance’ therefore applying to be covered under our market operators’ policy (this is a per market charge)
  • Food vendors –  upload your food safety documention (see T & C’s point 9 for link to required documents)
  • Food vendors – register at Ku-ring-gai Council (see T & C’s point 9 for link – no charge)

Please note – We carefully curate our markets to ensure a quality mix of product with a minimum number of stallholders per genre.  Therefore, your application will be reviewed upon receipt and an email will advise you of the next steps.  This will be either inviting you to join the team, with a payment request, popping you on the waitlist for a space to open up, or advising that we may not be the best fit for each other.  Whichever way, thank you so much for your interest in our beautiful north shore markets.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS (as at July 2017):

1)PAYMENT – TURRAMURRA
We prefer 4 consecutive week bookings, although week to week bookings accepted

New stallholders – Payment must be received, along with completed application form, insurance certificate of currency and food safety documentation (if applicable) before your booking is confirmed.
Returning stallholders - Payment is due by the end of the day after the last market, after which time, your space will be opened to the waitlist. 

PAYMENT - LINDFIELD
We accept casual bookings

New stallholders – Payment must be received, along with completed application form, insurance certificate of currency and food safety documentation (if applicable) before your booking is confirmed.

Returning stallholders - Payment is due by the end of first week after the last market, after which time, your space will be opened to the waitlist.

 

2)REFUNDS - TURRAMURRA
No refunds available once you have received confirmation of your place.  Transfer of booking to another week must be advised AT LEAST 5 DAYS prior market day and will be granted on a case by case basis.  No refunds given for loss of trade due to breach of NSW Department of Primary Industries – Food Authority Guidelines.  See Food Stall Guidelines document.

Stallholders must advise TGM asap if they are unable to attend for any reason (illness, personal reasons, etc.)  as early as possible, to allow alternate arrangements to be made.  Phone call preferred, but email or sms will suffice.
 

4)WEATHER CALL - TURRAMURRA
Based on advice from Ku-ring-gai Council, we will advise all stallholders if the park is closed due to bad weather by 2pm the day prior to market day.  If park remains open, we proceed in all weather, except extreme or dangerous conditions.  Decision to cancel the market is based on safety only, not on trading opportunity.  If the market is cancelled, all stalls will be ‘rolled over’ to the next week.  No refunds are offered.  Cancellation information will be made via email and will be posted on facebook, instagram and www.thatgreatmarket.com.au  It is your responsibility to check all these sources.

5)STALL ALLOCATION – TURRAMURRA & LINDFIELD
We will allocate your stall based on the best layout for the market as a whole.  If you are not happy with your stall location, please advise in writing and we will do our best to accommodate you the next market. 
Your space is not transferrable – i.e.: you cannot (a) swap locations with another stallholder (b) give your stall to another stallholder to run if you can’t make it without prior advice to market operator.
 

 

6)TRADING & ACCESS - TURRAMURRA
Stalls must be ready to trade at 8am and not commence packing up until 1pm.  Access for all stallholders is from 6am through the Karuah Road gates ONLY.   As the market is in a residential area, please keep noise to a minimum.     Trade must only be carried out within the confines of your stall.   You are not permitted to solicit business outside of your area at any time.  
You are expected to maintain trade on your stall until the close of market.  If you choose to pack up before then, we reserve the right to refuse your application for future markets.  

TRADING & ACCESS – LINDFIELD
Stalls must be ready to trade at 9am and not commence packing up until 2pm (excluding food stalls in some instances).   Access for all stallholders is from 7am.  As the market is in residential area, please keep noise to a minimum.   Trade must only be carried out within the confines of your stall.   You are not permitted to solicit business outside of your area at any time.  
You are expected to maintain trade on your stall until the close of market.  If you choose to pack up before then, we reserve the right to refuse your application for future markets

 

7)BUSINESS PRACTICE – TURRAMURRA & LINDFIELD
We assume that your business practice will always honour our morals of honest business practices and true customer service.  We are a team and will always be proud of our stallholders and their products.
 

8)PRODUCTS SOLD – TURRAMURRA & LINDFIELD
The products sold on your stall must be in line with products advised on this application.  If they are not, we reserve the right to ask you to remove them from sale. 
 

9)OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY    ** PRIORITY **  - TURRAMURRA & LINDFIELD

Marquees - If you are using a marquee, it is your responsibility to provide heavy weights for all 4 corners of your marquee, sufficient to secure it under windy conditions.  This is an OH&S requirement and if you do not have the suitable weights, you be asked to source them immediately or take down your marquee.

Signage – All signage must be within the confines of your stall, or at management’s discretion, in another allocated promotion areas.

Food stalls – ALL FOOD STALLS MUST CARRY A WORKING FIRE EXTINGUISHER.  Any hot oil, water or fluids, grills, or other electrical/gas equipment that heats, MUST be turned off and allowed to cool BEFORE any dismantling of your marquee commences.   Please consider your timing well in advance of the close of business.   

Market Management will be checking these regulations throughout the market.

10)RUBBISH – TURRAMURRA & LINDFIELD
All rubbish must be placed in the bins provided or taken away with you.  Please take away with you, all large packaging boxes as this will clog the bins and is not fair to other stallholders.

 

11)PARKING - TURRAMURRA
Stallholder access from 6am.   There is no parking on site (except for vans and trailers who have reserved space).  Drop off/pick up access is provided through the Karuah Road gates which are unlocked at 6am and will be unlocked again after 1pm.  This is a safety requirement and no allowances will be made.   Stallholder parking is in adjoining streets – do not use the angled parking on Karuah Road – this is a council requirement. 

PARKING – LINDFIELD
Stallholder access from 7am.   The community carpark is council property and all available spaces must be left free for customers of both our market and the adjoining shops.  You may park your cars in the carpark for unloading, then as soon as you can, please move to one of the adjoining streets.  We ask you to be mindful AT ALL TIMES of resident driveways and legally marked spaces.  Council rangers may be on duty.  You may move your car back to the carpark for re-loading at 2pm.

 

12)INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS – TURRAMURRA & LINDFIELD
A minimum of $10m Public Liability Insurance is required for all stallholders.  Your insurer will issue you with a
1 or 2 page Certificate of Currency, noting your company name, level of insurance, and period of cover.  This is the only documentation we need.    Alternatively, we can provide you with 1 day cover under our Market Operators Insurance, for an additional fee of $15 per market per day.

 

13)PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY – TURRAMURRA & LINDFIELD
Photos and videos may be taken at each market of stallholders, products and visitors.   These are used for promo purposes only and never sold to a third party.   Your support of this is appreciated.

 

14)WE ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY – TURRAMURRA & LINDFIELD
We request no single use plastic packaging or bags be used at either market.  Please ensure you use only recyclable, biodegradable or paper products. 

 

15)This documentation is updated at regular intervals.  It is your responsibility to check regularly.  
 

16)By submitting payment, you automatically agree to all the T & C’s listed above.  In all matters, management decision is final.  We reserve the right to refuse re-booking into the market if T & C’s are not met for any reason, management considers goods for sale are not in keeping with market values, or OH&S regulations not observed.
